Default Got to rev the Z

Something odd I noticed on Monday when I got to rev the Z was that it didn't rev too quickly. Even though I didn't floor it (since there was no load), I noted that the car lost it's revs pretty slow (about half the speed of my Honda). I guess my only concern would be rev-matching at the track when I use heel-toe shifting.

I'm guessing your EX-R coupe has a 4 cylinder? If it does, of course it is going to take less time to due to less recipicating mass. There are things that you could do to the new Z such as aftermarket pullies that will reduce recipicating mass. On my Z32, I installed a 3lb underdrive pulley on the crankshaft and it definetly reduced time for the engine to rev/go back to idle (not really a technical term for that.) BTW, my stock pulley is 12 lbs
