Hey guys,
i don't know if this is possible.. but can we get to know the trim from the VIN?? usually there are 6 digits at the end of the VIN which represent the serial number. i don't know if it got anything to do with it.
330241 is my 6 digits.
i'm thinking, like, 1xxxxx is Base, 2xxxxx is Enthusiast, and so forth. just a guess..

Here's the Nissan VIN definition...

There is NO trim level in there. The last 6 digits are the sequence.
The dealer knows because they pull up your records based on the VIN #. It's not the VIN # itself that tells them.

thnx anyways.

The only people who I've seen with confusion about the trim is those who bought from a non-Nissan dealer. They assumed it was "X" trim and sold it that way and the buyer ultimately finds out it's a different trim.
Nissan dealers have access to the computer records that have all the details, repair history, etc. on each car keyed by the VIN #. It tells them which trim based on what was originally entered into the computer. If there is a mistake (hardly likely), then somebody entered the wrong info. The trim info in the computer is just like the color, it is not implied from the VIN but input by someone.
