I just got a call from my dealer to tell me that NNA just called him with updated info on Z deliveries. He said mine has moved from Sept 30, to Sept 3! Woo-hoo! And to back it up, he just emailed me the order screen from the nissan computer, showing my VIN and delivery date of Sept 3! WOW I AM ABOUT TO BURST WITH EXCITEMENT! I hope many of you will be getting good news like this soon too. Good luck fellow pre-orderers! I'll attach a blurred image of my order in a min.

My dealer let me know yesterday that my Z is slated for delivery 9/3 as well, plus or minus ten days!!!!!!!!!! Ordered 1/17/02

Thanks for sharing in my excitement guys, I can't wipe this smile off my face right now. I finally have something real and tangible for when I get my baby! I ordered on 1/22/02, but I don't think the dealer faxed them in until 2/8/02. I am #16 of 16 at Courtesy Nissan in Richardson. I was told earilier that they have 1 August delivery car and the rest are Sept. I have an S order, so I think it was originally a July production, and it appears to be on schedule. So much for these production delay rumors!

I just want to say how lucky I am to have an honest, caring dealer. They've kept in touch with me since day 1 with ANY info they got, and kept me in the loop. I only had to bug them once to ask for something. If all car dealerships cared as much about customer satisfaction as Courtesy Nissan the world would be a much happier place. Thanks Courtesy!

Bommarito Nissan in St.Louis. I moved to Chicago in June. Todd is my salesman and he has been a pleasure to work with. He never gives you BS information so I know he is giving it to me straight. It will be one sweet ride back to Chi-town!!!!!!!

infinite z, YOU DA MAN!! I'm going to take this print out down to my dealer after work and ask "What's up? Where's mine?" I also ordered on 1/22, a silverstone base. I wonder if we'll be able to figure out the build sequence based on these order screens. Did you ask if any others were coming the same time or earlier? I think that would be the best info, knowing the colors/models that are coming before yours. Great info for the rest of us that is, as you KNOW when yours is coming!

I don't like the "[PF6]=DELETE CUSTOMER INFO" at the bottom of the screen. I would hate to get that call from the dealer, "yeah I was looking at your order on the screen, it says ETA 08/05/02, but now it's gone. I don't understand what happened." That would suck.

I also just got word from dealer that my ETA is 9/6/02, I am ready to explode with excitement, I was told it was on a ship already and due to arrive late August and pending receiving inspections it will arrive 9/6, woo hoo!!!!!!!!! I am bouncing off the walls!!!

Just got the news from my ex that my dealer contacted me. --Wow, I know, I almost fell over when I heard that...hehe -- I made the conversation short since I didn't want to talk to my ex, but the dealer confirmed a delivery date of September 12th - hell yea!!!! My friend Jessica was laughing cuz I was jumping up and down for about 5 minutes... I was sooooooo excited...
