Default Road & Track

If this is old info, sorry, but I just got home and found the Sept. Issue of Road & Track waiting for me, complete with the 350Z Road Test.

0 - 60 5.6 sec (Car and Driver was 5.4)

I hope it was, but it probably wasn't. I figure the auto will run 0-60 at 5.9. Why do I think this? Nissan says "0-60 in under 6 secs". It didn't specify a transmission, manual or auto, right? What do you guys and gals think?

Boomer--anyway, 5.4-5.6 in pre-production?, not broken in yet, cars sounds good.

You could be right. Some reviews that I've read have been impressed with the quickness of the AT shifting. Can't remember the site I read that though on!

COLOR? Is one color faster than another? My God, we've started another rumor! Where will it end?

Boomer--Sorry, just kidding. As you may be able to tell nerves are a little frayed around here at the moment.

Absolutely! Unless you have those black racing rims with the bad alignment job!

I want to see what to auto will run!!!
After driving a g35 i can say shifts are smooth and all the way to redline, - afew rpm.

Also when the mustang gt came out hot rod magazine said if they had one of their own it would be the 4 speed auto!

I think the auto would be just fine in the g35c, but the 350z is a sports car and deserves a stick.

I beat the auto Z will run 5.7 to 60.

any takers?

I think the auto will be.5 slower than the manual. With the manual's best being 5.2 0-60, I think you are spot on. The auto will run to 60 in 5.7 sounds right!
