Clarkson from Top Gear hates the 350Z so much
theres another video where they compare the crossfire convertible, audio tt convertible and the z convertible and he was still hating on it. but at the end when its his turn to drive it he kinda changes his mind.
he also HATES corvettes...then is amazed that they stomp half of what he tests. still...if you want to feel better about his review check out his competition's opinion of the car...fifth gear video
that makes me giggle lol. I didn't like the new Z when it first came out (I owned and loved the 300ZX tt), but I loved the G35. The G35 is pretty much the fix to all of Clarkson's btching lol

another example
He isn't even trying to drive the car hard. You can hear him shifting rather low.

Despite the repost nature of this video, I think it has a place here as "what do british car shows/magazines/car guys think of us?" and reminding us what happens when you are English and become snobby. Ok, sure, the Z is not an American car, it's japanese, right? Notice, however, how he mentions that the car was designed in America and is made for fat americans. He takes continuous potshots at American drivers and America in general throughout the entire video.
His hatred is not so much for the Z as it is for all that is American. While stereotyping us, he does a fantastic job of doing exactly what makes people dislike the british: thinking he is refined and cultured when he is in fact a fat, blathering idiot who comes across as a snob and an elitist.
Typical for the show.
