We all know that "group buys" sometimes gives the consumer a significant discount on product........ what if a few ppl wanted to hit up one dealer together & try to get a few Z's at the same time.... no doubt they would give us a discount..... anyone think about this before? I was originally going to put this in the regional forum....but maybe other ppl across the country might be interested. PM me if you are SERIOUSLY interested...... I'm going to aim for a chicago-area dealership for this (if anyone is interested)

 

While I would love to see that work....I don't know how well it would. I'm sure dealers would jump at the chance to move a large volume, but odds are it won't be at a deep discount. And with many people ordering fromt he same dealership they won't have the allotment to suit everyone, so they would have to special order cars which would be a pain for the dealer. It could work, but it won't be simple.

 

I thought of this a long time ago, but its not feasable, they only get a few each month, and youd need to bring in like 4 months worth of sales to get a discount. if your buying now, they couldnt offer enough of a savings to wait 4 months.

 

Dealer always gets his money, they would just group jack us on trade-ins, interest rate, etc.
