I agree with some its the color that helps sell. I had an 03 Evo that was Yellow and when i was looking to sell it, it was a pita. I had a million people tell me, if it was silver, black, white etc they would be all over it. On the other hand I posted my 03 Cobra up for sale and it sold in 1 day, but it was black.
Lol, either way if it sells I would get an Evo over an Sti, but thats just me

At least you don't have 4 accidents on your Z's record. I bought mine with one accident, and since then I've been rear ended a few times. I've thought about selling my Z because it's hard to maintain while going to school right now but I don't think that I can get much for it with it's stained record.

haha.. that's funny.. I actually talked to you on the phone about buying your car.. I ended up buying a 05 with 7k on it for $4,000 more with all MBQuartz speakers JL sub touch screen nav. Shorty antena, plenum spacer intake, jwt pop charger
nizmo shift boot, tinted windows.. there's a kid up here in my town with an 03 selling it for 16,000 and he can't even sell it.. granted it's got like 98k on it
I love my Z and dream about it at night.. I'm gonna keep it forever and make sweet love to it

Seriously, the color is horrid, but there's a sucker born every minute.
That said, try Ebay and do it the right way - post large photos, etc, set your reserve $1k below your lowest # and with any luck, you'll sell it in a week.
I've sold a lot of stuff on Ebay that simply wouldn't budge elsewhere.
And next time, don't buy a gold car.

I would try craigslist. I Sold my S2000 on there and have bought a few things off there (Bikes) but its free. E-bay charges you a certain percentage of your selling price, screw that.
Believe me I like colors that are different too, at one time we had 3 yellow cars (Z06, Evo, S2K) but Ive learned that will only hurt me when I try to sell it later on.

KBB value is a joke. They are always way high. I just paid $700 below the Edmunds TMV price(which is always a couple grand less than KBB) on a replacement Z after I totaled mine and I am realizing I paid at least $1500 too much.
Just because you go around paying KBB for cars doesn't mean anyone else is going to, as evidenced by the lack of response you are getting.
Go to Emunds.com and check out their private party TMV for your car and it won't be easy getting that price either.

Kbb
http://www.kbb.com is a BAD REFERENCE. They Update their database every quarter and it is and script that calculate the price based on certains things.
Try this:
go to http://www.kbb.com put:
2003 Nissan 350Z Enthusiast Coupe 2D with 43K
You got private party:
**Excellent $18,635 (your price)
**Good $17,615
**Fair $16,190
Now try this:
2003 Nissan 350Z Enthusiast Coupe 2D with 920000 thousand miles, yes 920k
You got private party:
**Excellent $12,760
**Good $11,740
**Fair $10,315
The script calculate this ridiculus numbers
Now, let me ask you something.... WHO WILL PAY 11K FOR A Z WITH 920K MILES?
You Should go by the market, not for references..... ANYWAYS GOOD LUCK
