Some of you guys are idiots if you think naming your car is dumb!
The average human spends anywhere from 5% - 30% of their life IN a vehicle.
That vehicle is like an extension of you and to give it a name seems only appropriate. End of debate!!!

I agree. The guys that think it is stupid to name a vehicle used the argument that you could start naming everything. I guess the people that do name their vehicles are true car enthusiasts.

Bomber crews during WW2 used to name their bombers. The B-29 that dropped the A-Bombs on Japan was the Enola Gay. Ships are often given female names as well and are addressed as 'she' and 'her' (mostly because the work of keeping-up a ship in port is called 'husbandry'). When a machine does so much for you, it deserves a certain level of afinity.

I think that people that think naming cars are stupid just view their Z's as transportation.
