Default I need help ASAP!!!!

:::Moderators:::: Please keep this in this forum if possible so that everyone sees this.

So I have completed the Lemon Law and I am getting ready to meet with the 3rd party to drop off my car and pick up the check. Here is my question. I had to pay a milage usage fee (+/- $1500.00) and thought that included the normal wear and tear items. I will also say that they are charging me for using 5549 miles which is what the car had at the time of the first problem instead of the 11,500 miles that I have on it now. So basically I save another $1500.00 just from that. Now I find out that I have to replace my rear tires (which in my opinion should be included in usage charge) with new ones or ones that have more than 50% tread life left. Does this sound right to you or not? If it does sound right is there anyone that has their stock rears sitting around that they would be willing to help a Z owner out and I will pay you for them. Or would you suggest that I put the cheapest tires that I can find on the car and just give it back that way.

Thanks for any assistance in this matter,
Christopher M Peters (From Jacksonville, FL...... LOL LOL)

PS I will be posting the complete details of the buy back in a few weeks after it has been completed. I will also have scans of all Documents for you guys to see.

Lemon Laws are complicated, and vary from state to state. Are you attempting this without an attorney?

It is completed.... All I have left to do is give them the car back. I did it though the BBB which did not require a need for an attorney.

Gee, I didn't know that many people were lemon-lawing their cars that everybody needed to see it.

Be careful, they may require you to return it with parts of "equal value" to what was delivered. If you go out and buy some $100 tires from Wal-Mart, they might charge you the difference for the replacment Bridgestones.

Then you are representing yourself in the suit against Nissan. I would hire an attorney who knows the law, and can do best for his client. But that's just me.

Guys you dont understand.... It is over and I am not upside down. I am not going to post all the details until I have the check in hand. All I am asking is that if it were you, would you put the bridgestones back on it or would you put a cheaper tire on the car??? It does not say that I have to put the Potenzas back on it....

okay buddy this is how it goes. i just had my car bought back less than a week ago. i had the same issue as u with the tires. my lawyer told me that the thread needs to be 4/32nd. also they had to be the same exact tires all around. cant be 2 different brands. i had mine checked out and i found out that i had no thread left lol. so i bought a pair of used potenzas for a 100 bux threw them on and had no problem with the buy back. heres how much i got back. they kept like 1200 from the mileage at which my first problem had started.

5 years ago my business partner turned in the family Ford Windstar using the lemon law - the airbag light kept coming on and Ford could not say for certain whether the airbags worked or not. He did it himself, without a lawyer, and got back every cent he paid during the one year of ownership, including tax/title/etc. He also got a 1 year newer model at 0% interest for 5 years, so he came out on the plus side. Say what you want about domestics, Ford really stepped up to the plate on that one.
