Default First Dent!!!!!

CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was backing into a parking spot at work today, careful as ALWAYS and I hear..."SCREECH!" Turns out the enormous truck I was parking in front of, near the car had this massive low tow hitch I didnt see and....yep. 1 2 inch scratch/ding right below the reverse light and a scratch above the light. In your guys opinion what kind of repair bill am I looking at?

No big deal, happens eventually to everyone. From what it sounds like, Dent Wizard or someone like that should be able to fix it for $200-300.

If I'm not mistaken, paintless dent repair can't do anything about dents that are near door handles, lights, etc.

If you take it to a body shop, depending on the color and damage and whether they have to repaint the entire bumper to match, I'm guessing that you're looking at a repair that's at least $400.

Dent wizards usually repair smaller dents where your paint is not scratched off. Something in your situation with the scrape probably involves painting and at least 500$ if they don't have to blend in the bumper with the side of the car.

I have two incidents...

First one, I put the front end to close to a parking spot curb...pushed in clutch and guess it was a hill...more sccrttccchhh....I was pretty pissed, but minor minor damage.

Second one happened to me this morning...took a corner a wee bit fast and ended up pulling a 360 after popping my wheel off a curb. Scratched the lip of my wheel. I know I got off VERY easy...I was doing about 60. Forged Rays wheels for the win.

if your finger nail hangs up on the scratch, or if you have a dent, you'll be lucky to get out for under $500. You figure, if it's a scratch, half the bumper needs to be sanded down and blended in. If it's a dent/scratch combo then depending if it made a crease or not, probably will have to be pull out then slightly bondo'd to get a smooth appearance again. The smallest dent or knick can be a world of pain to fix.

I went to my playoff game about two weeks ago and one of the guys missed the ball and it hit my car.

Passenger side door, really low, right near the door jam, left a half dollar sized dent and a 1" scratch...

My dad seems to think the scratch will come out when I get the car waxed and detailed (not sure why he thinks that).

yeah, i smashed into a mailbox a few months back with my driver side corner panel. I thought my car was down for the count... i was depressed homie. To get the dent out, the panel resprayed and my driver side door resprayed (garbage cans scratched the hell out of it) it was $300, but that was the hook up from a friends uncle. If you feel like driving overe here to Clearwater/Tampa area, i can fix you up with him. He does a lot new cars with car insurance claims, so he's pretty good. Not sure how much of a "hook" up i can get you, but i gauruntee his price will be substantially lower than your normal quote. Let me know, ft.myers is a little ways out.
