Did a search for **** and found:
Joking aside...
Just get the car that fits your driving habits and you get what you want out of it. Forget what other people think. It's your $$$. My buddy bought an '04 S2000 and he's very happy with it. It's not for me, I prefer the Z. I still respect the S and that's his pride and joy.
pick the S dude ull love the gear box its pure sex!!!
i totally agree...the tranny is 100x better in the S

I may have some mods, but I've yet to have an S2000 stay with me. Spanked em all.... I do have to say, I love the way an S2000 handles. Since they have no torque, it is easy to predict what is going to happen. The Z can be a monster at times. Gotta watch what your doing with that gas pedal around corners and such.

I was in your situation when I bought my Z. I chose the Z because:
1. I hate convertibles (the S2K is very noisy inside on highway)
2. A 4 banger (though the 9000 rpm redline is something that is also rare)
3. The Z has more torque
And I think the chicks would dig the Z more than the S2K since the S2K does look like a smaller sports car. Like it would compete in the Integ class or something. (Looks wise).

I had an 03 S2000 before I bought the Z....I wish I could have kept the S! The z is a great car, but there is nothing like Honda reliabilty and it handles like a dream in stock form....Also, I have taken my car to Nissan 3 times for various issues where I never had to with any Honda I have ever owned...
I actually got more compliments with the S because there isn't that many around here compared to the Z...Both cars are awesome, but I will admit that I miss the S at times

By the way, the Z isn't all that, and I own one.

...then I take it your other car is a pink Prius...
as for you owning a Z... and thinkin' it's "not all that," sell it and "bounce"

I have driven both cars and was in the market for an S2000 before i bought my 05z. The only reason i bought the Z over the S2000 is because of the increased interior space. Other than that S2000 is a technological marvel and a thrill to drive. I would suggest trying both cars and see which car "fits" you best...

Personally, I like both but the S2k is just not suitable for me in college.

a few years ago, i'd probabably pick the S2000... however at the present time I choose the Z. Both are great cars, you can't really go wrong with either choice. Taste is subjective so you can argue it all day long and none of you will fully agree

Z is better all around...When I see the S on the road I don't realize thats it there..But for some reason when I see the Z doesnt matter if its stock or not Its just stood out from all the rest...Nissan all the way....

Why not take both out for a test drive and figure out which one appeals to you more?
Some bias here (obviously) but I bet many of the S2000 owners wouldn't have bought their Honda had they tried out the 350Z. I can't imagine having to beat the **** out of my car to achieve a decent amount of pull.

Wrong!!! I test drove a 03 Z before I bought the 03 S....I wasn't happy at all with the 03 Z except the cabin room...But when I drove the 07, I had to have it!!! Big difference to me compared to the 3 03 Z's I test drove...JMO of coarse
