s2k is a very very focused car. If you have to ask if you want it vs another car, the other car is probably the right car for you.
It has very little bang for the buck unless all you're looking for is raw performance. |

BTW, I love how the S2000 handles, but the Z.... It just works for me.

....and what impresses the most is Nissan's amazing performance history in F1! I love commenting on stupid fan boyish commentary. |
I had the same thoughts trying to decide as well between the S2K and Z . When it comes down to it though I felt the need for a more BIG BOY car. It's quicker, handles better, bigger engine (more power), and more room. I didn't like the extremely close quarters in the S2K. Also I couldn't move the seat back any further in the S2K cause at 6'0" I CAN fit. . . but not really that comfortable.
Hands down the Z is just better in a plethora of ways. I had a Honda Accord that I hooked up and LOVED to death which make me VERY loyal to Honda, it's great make so I'll never disrespect it or underestimate it. |
S2000 is a nice car. My 350Z is turboed and I just ate up three S2000's this weekend at the track. One of them even had some type of FI setup. Two of the S2000's came crying back to the event supervisor that I passed them and they didn't give me the "pass by wave". I told the event super, maybe if they were watching me doggin' them on the straights they might have surrendered sooner. Clearly they were too busy trying to stay on the track.
Something tells me that your more interested in S2000's because..........? You can't add as much power and HP to S2000 as you can to the 350Z without rebuilding either engine. Get the 350Z, boost it another 50% and celebrate that you got the right car |

Rare for any s2k to be running smaller than a 30R or equivilent if theyre turboed. |
hahahaah i agree with the others remarks...buy a z....you are in a z forumm hahaahah...

to many 350z's get a s2k

i currently have an S. I've been lurking in this forum for a few months to get more info about the Z. The S is a really nice car but then again, it is my daily driver for the summer and it gets uncomfortable at times. If you are looking for a straight track car, get the S. If you are looking for a daily driver, I wouldn't recommend the S at all and would go towards the Z.
