Nissan sent me a copy in the mail today. THought that was interesting.

 

Yes.. Goy mine about 6 weeks ago.. A lot of fun to watch.. Now if I could only drive my "Z" thru the streets of New York City like that..

nissan should send you one, they are available at all major car shows(tho you may have to ask for it by name), and eventually they will be available at your local nissan.

 

Just came in the mail without asking, 6 weeks after I got the Z.

 

I didn't get one Anyone want to burn a copy for me?

My salesman told me that Nissan sent out a Z picture/history book to new owners--anyone receive a copy?

I just received my feedback form--no dvd (bought one on ebay) and no book.

Looks like I might have a few things to mention under the "comments" line.

 

I've got a previously viewed copy that I'll let go for free.....just pay the shipping fee.

I had originally bought one from Courtesy Parts and then Nissan mailed me one, after I bought the car.

 

Its funny I bought a copy 2 monts ago for $6.

2 weeks later I was given a copy from a friend in MO that went to a car show.

I have now had my car for 3 months and I just received a copy.

 

I got my copy of the run after I signed up at Z.com. I had the car for 6 months before I signed up. I got all the preorder perks like the collectible cards, Lust then love book etc, but no copy of the run until I went to Z.com. So if you haven't gotten a copy yet, you can try signing up there.

 

Yeah, I got this book the day I picked up my car. Pretty nice...big...all full color with history info. I think you can pretty much see all of the info under Nissan's Z site though.

I got mine at the dealership too. probably would have given it to me even if I hadn't bought the car... got a new 350z brouchure too. It came in a cardboardish envelope.

I only watched the first few minutes of it, it didn't seem all that extreme or anything, just a guy driving around narrow streets... nothing like bmwfilms.com movies, Those are cool!

 

Last Motor Trend show that was here (MD)(which I got free tickets too ). Already had my Z and went to the Nissan booth and was talkin to them for a little bit. They had a bunch sittin there and I said I seen them on Courtesy's site for 15 bucks or whateva they wanted and I asked how much were they sellin theirs and she said "how bout free?" I was like that works..

 

i want the run, just to see what the Z is capable of hehe, i'll see for myself in a few months.

 

I got my copy from the Nissan rep at the NY Auto Show. It is definently worth checking out. Not sure if I would have paid to order it, but can't go wrong when its free .

 

Got my copy of "the run" from import auto salon a few months ago.....it is ok.....I am interested in the book others are talking about though...do the books contain a history of the Z?

 

I got the run at hotimport nights..thats what got me looking at the z....hopefully i'll have one soon Oh and by the way....its a pretty good vid, but not as exciting as i would have thought.
