Use your drying cloth and and "push" the water down the length of the window seal and most of it will come out. I usually do this and dry the back of the car last. The OEM spoiler holds a lot too along with the mirrors.

Its like the F*ING NILE RIVER........
Here's what I do:
1. Wash the car
2. Wipe the hatch area
3. Lift the hatch and let the water drain, open all doors
4. Wipe everything down, including the sidekick plate area
5. After wiping everything down, drive on the freeway at 80mph for a mile.
6. Get back home, detail spray all the water spots.

When you wash your Z don't forget to take a rag and go under the rubber gasket around the hatch. I also take a rag and blot dry the corners of the gasket. Water accumulates there and can cause the gasket to rot prematurely. I also take a rag and put it down in between the door and fender to dry any water left there. Can't be too careful with our Z's!!!!
