I'm hoping for MC to catch this thread and shed some light, but how many special ediiotn or one-off Z's has Nissan made? Here's what I can think of:
The Nismo S-tune proto
The Nismo R-tune proto
The Nismo RS Concept
The Nismo 380RS
The Nismo 380RS-Competition
The Nismo GT

What about any others? There was the Nismo S and R tune cars that came out with the Z in 2003, but I think they were just cars sporting Nismo's bolt-ons and not actual Nismo production units or badged as anything special. maybe I'm wrong. I know the S and R tune protos were actual Nismo badged cars. Was the 350Z GT-S actually a factory effort, or a one-off by a bunch of UK engineers? Maybe someone *cough*MC*cough* could make a sticky with a list of all the special variants made of the 350Z and the specs and data for each. Pics wouldn't be bad either. But, if anyone knows of any other special models, please post. I'm curious how many different designs there have been on the Z33.

The GT-S was just one-off project by the UK mates.

 

I guess the 35th anniversary is also a special model of the Z. And, of course, I forgot to list the new Nismo 350Z. Any others?
