Shes going in for oil and then I am gonna drop the TSB and say fix it biatches!! (well maybe alittle nicer than that )

Hey hey,

Have you guys tried tightening the spare? My '06 had an annoying clicking sound coming from the rear for the first month or so. I pulled out the mat and cover in the trunk and tightened everything down. No more noise after that.

Good luck!

Can you tell us which TSB it is? SO I can look it up or have them look it up when I go in. Everytime I go in to the dealership they ask me 'which tsb is that?'

I received this noise at any given time during turns, accelerations, etc. However, I didn't get this noise until after I had installed new front camber arms and got the alignment done. After getting it checked by the shop, the noise was still there until it went away about a week later.

I then had to get another alignment done, and afetrwards, sure enough the noise came back. Since I was needing my first oil change anyway, I requested the dealership check it out and their assumption was they needed to re-torque the bolts. Sure enough, I got it back and the noise was still there...3 days later...noise was gone...and has not shown up again. I am sure it will come up again whenever I get another aligment.

When I was at the dealership I knwo they mentioned it was from the '06 bulletin and it involved re-torqueing bolts on the rear axle....unfortunately, I can't remember the specific title of the bulletin. Hope this helps a little.

I have 06 AT. I had the same problem. I took it to Nissan, and they said that the SWAY BAR LINKS loose. They did replaced but I still hear the clicking noise. I will bring the car back on Monday.

I just got the tsb done on my '06 and the clicking problem is gone. My service rep said it had something to do with the rear parking brake assembly but who knows for sure. I was going to post the tsb here, but it is not printed on my reciept. I do however have the parts list used for the tsb which should allow you to figure out the problem if you look them up, and help anybody who needs to fix this that is out of warranty.

I have the clicking to. I have it in my front right suspension. I decided to put a towel on my kick plate and kind rock it. It sounds like there's something not torqued down all the way. Im getting mine fixed tomorrow.

Recently my '04 Track started to have this "clicking" sound from the left rear side. Will the TSB cover my car when I take it in? Should I have the stealership do both axles?

Thanks people!

A TSP covers nothing. It is a supplement to the service manual.

Are you within 60 months 60.000 miles? Then it will be covered under warranty. And yes the dealer will do both sides of the axles.

I have a 2006 that has clicked every day exept the day I took it to the dealership to get it fixed.Since the tech couldnt hear it they wouldnt fix it.I even had a printout of the tsb with me.Next time im going to take it out and drive the hell out of it before I take it to them because I have noticed the clicking with my car sometimes doesnt start untill I have been driving it for a little while.

i have the same clicking noice in my 04 sounds like its coming from the rear wheel area

edit: Is this just a noise that's annoying and thus covered under warranty or is it something needed to be fixed? I have had it going on for some time now but never any safety issues.
