Default Low VIN .. any advantage??

From a resale value, does a low VIN have any bearing. Now if it was #1 I can certainly understand.

Another question, does anyone, RXO maybe, ZISME for sure, know what the first "Production Car" VIN is? I'm guessing 50. Any thoughts?? Just trying to pass the time thinking of trivia.

I would think a very low VIN would be an advantage if you were planning on keeping the car for many years and putting VERY low mileage on it. My impression is that collectors will pay top dollar for low VIN cars. Otherwise, I think it might be a very slight advantage at resale time. BTW, I was going to post that this is a ch...uh never mind...no one would appreciate the inside joke.

I appreciate the joke. Glad we've settled our differences. I've mellowed. Thanks for the input.
