I think I've solved this mystery:
The owner swapped in two K20's and offset them so each was at an angle; thus the V-8 symbol. Instead of just putting "350z - Type R", he realized he had TWO legendary motors in his car now, so he had to square the R.

I think that V8 badge is from a Titan. Even if he's got a V8 in it, it's nothing to show off. It's unique, yeah... But the VQ has more potential! But it's probably just another guy who went crazy with badges. The other day I saw a '99 VR4 that was in immaculate condition, driven by a dude in a suit... And I almost cried when I saw GIANT GT-R badges on both sides.
