Default no metalized film? tint?

i was re-reading the owners manual and found this on pg 121 in the green box. it says:
"do not place any metalized film or any metal parts on the windows. this may cause poor reception of the signals from the tire pressure sensors, and the low pressure warning system will not function correctly"

the reason i am asking is that tint film is metalized, and i was wondering how can such a thin/small thing can disrupt the system? does it disrupt the system first of all?

thanks

oh, and i almost forgot, how do they tint windows when the window moves up and down everytim they open/shut the door?

I was actually about to post the same question about the metalized tint issue. In the past, the shop I have used to tint my previous Z's windows uses Formula One Performance Automotive Film that is a metalized tint. Now, based on the manual, I'm not sure if I should use the same stuff???

Any ideas on this?
