no, when i shift fast, the Z makes a funny sound when i come off the clutch too fast, but im doing okay.

i get the same thump when i race around shifting fast. is that what youre talking about kspec? i dont think you can avoid it unless you shift slower, but then you will lose the race!

yea its like a thump. its super annoying, idk if i need a better clutch or what.
i dont want to ride the clutch either while racing to avoid the thump.

i had a 1978 280z that shifted thesame way with the same thump! it never hurt anything. im sure some genius will chime in and tell us we are gonna blow our trannys! a racing clutch is the way to go though.
