Default Will this fit in the Z.

I want to install my exhaust tomarrow morning. Will this fit in the Z's hatchback? I will rap it with my car cover to avoid any damage on the way to the shop.

Yea, put the midpipe through the car and fit it under the strut. Place a towel in the middle area so nothing gets scratched. Than put the y pipe in the passanger leg area resting on the seat. Lastly, put the end part of your nismo into your trunk. Hope that helps

A local Z-Shop mechanic here in Miami. He is charging $100.00 for the install. His hourly rate is $65.00.

ya seriously. you could do it yourself in an hour with jackstands in your driveway. it's NOT that hard. the longest install for exhaust work is headers, and even that i think is booked at 3 hours per side by nissan.

I would do it myself. But I'm unable to take on a job like this. I have a problem with my hands they swell up like ballons when I work in tight spaces or bang them against something. So I would rather pay to get it put in. Is $100.00 bucks not fair? What would be a fair price for this job?

Most shops charge a flat rate of around 100 for exhaust installs, although they only take 40 minutes or so to put on.

IMO $100 is high for where I live. I know several shops in town that would do it for $75-$80. Back to the question.. it'll fit. Just wrap it up in a blanket or something so your interior doesnt get scratched up. I was able to put my HKS Hi Power in the Z without any issues.
