All around Chicagoland last weekend I saw a handful of Z's. Every single Z owner gave me the wave or the thumbs-up as I drove by or next to them! It was so nice to have such comraderie. If I saw any of you folks driving around in SS's, CS's and DB Z's, props to you for being so friendly! This is one aspect of Z ownership I hadn't anticipated, but its really damn cool...

I'd have to agree, but there are always exceptions...like the blonde in the REdline that was less than friendly
WashUJon, are you coming to the Chicago meet this Saturday?

Of course we are, Jon. ![Stick Out Tongue](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
But it is always nice to see another Z and have the driver wave. I even get some 300ZX drivers giving the thumbs up.
But like J350 said, there are always those who are a little snooty. ![Frown](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/frown.gif)
It's a good thing that *those* types aren't the majority!

Thats one thing i just love about the car. Its like im adopted into some big happy family now.
Shortly after i got the car, i was driving along on the free way, and this absolutly beautiful 240z comes up behind me. He then passes me on my left, signals and changes to my lane, then changes again to the right lane (its 3 lanes). He then slows down, waves, and takes the exit. Very cool stuff. His plate was "FINE240."
Then just the other day, i was driving home and a PP 350z goes the other way, we both waved and flashed our lights. Ah, such a good feeling.
Oh yeah, one more (that i can remember). I was sitting at a light and on the other side of the street at the light was a 280. As we passed each other thru the intersection, we both waved.![Smilie](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I even had a guy in a NICE 300zx chase me down and follow me to work so he could look at the car.
Talk about an ego boost.
