I'm having trouble getting video. I can hear the sound but that's it. Any help?

 

No, I can totally hear it, I just can't see anything! I'm using Media Player (the newest version) and it says "sending request for codec" then "waiting" then it just plays the audio portion. Am I missing a file or something? I can play other files (*.mpg and that sort of thing).

 

Yeah, it does. This isn't the first time that i've come across this problem with an .avi file. Wondering if there's some sort of "codec" that I need to download and install?
