Default Want to rent a Z in Las Vegas

I'm going to be in Vegas in a couple of weeks and would really like to rent a 350Z for a couple of days, take myself on a little desert roadtrip.

Does anyone know anywhere that rents them?

Thanks
Sally

I'm sure those specialty cars palces on the strip will have them, but it will cost you like $200.00 per day. That's what they were getting for the s2000 last year. I say they should have them because they all had the S2000 when it was new.

I don't know about you, but $200 per day is a little (LOT!) too much to pay for a Z for the day. And you want one for a few days. On top of that, I think you only get about 150 miles per day with the cars.

My buddy and I looked into a viper rental last year (costs about twice as much). But we found other ways to squander our dough!

Vegas is cool either way. Make sure you hit the Red Rocks loop road while you are there. And if you do it around dinner time, you'll probably catch a look at the wild burros on the side of the road.

Man, I like Vegas...can I come??

I think $200 a day is worth it. The last time I was out in Vegas I paid $189 for a cobra convertable. My wife and I took it to hoover dam.

Thanks guys

rent-a-vette doesn't have any Z's. We're going to be in San Francisco for a while too, and there is a place there (specialtyrentals.com) that's rents the Z. We have more time in Vegas though so I'd prefer to rent the Z there. Driving to Vegas from SF was an idea - until I saw it was over 500 miles! That would be a loooong day!

I won't ever get to drive my own Z (or my Elise) anywhere like Nevada, and it's something I will remember forever. I think $200 a day to have an experience like that is worth it. Imagine you could drive your Z through Europe then tell me that you wouldn't pay $200 for that experience. Something like this is priceless. Plus the pound is really strong against the dollar right now, so $200 isn't as much as it normally would be It's £120 whereas it's normally nearer £150.

Would they really bother giving a speeding ticket to someone with a foreign driving licence? "Sorry officer, the speed limit in England is 70mph, I forgot where I was..." Oh yeah, and of course they'd have to catch me first

I rented a Z from specialty rentals' Bev Hills office for $139 a day (temporary promo 10% discount for internet booking) and they gave me a 200 mile/day allowance. The drive from LA to Vegas would be fun (but there wouldn't be many twisties).

before you go there, just make sure that you have all the paper work ready with you though... insurance, passport, etc. etc... becoz the last time i went to Las Vegas, my sis and i were already planning to rent a 360 Modena from a car rental. But it turned out to be that we couldn't rent any since we are not 25 yet, and not locally insured...

There is a place called Dream Car Rentals or something similar where I rented a Viper GTS for $225. It was a few years ago so it may be more expensive. They had all kinds of cars from Corvettes to Cobra replicas to Ferraris. They were priced according to how exotic the car was.

Thanks Adrie. I should be ok - I'm 28, and failing that my husband is a US citizen so he can rent the car under his name and then I can drive it (because spouses are automatically added on the insurance at most of these places).

ThreeFiftyZoom - I've used those guys before, but they don't have any Z's...

girlracer,

If you can't hook up with a Z try going through the hotel where you will be staying. Hotels usually have all sorts of contacts.
