You're one of the many freakin' reasons why insurance on the Z is so high for most drivers . . . please, do us a favor, don't buy another Z.

What a sad end to a nice car. I'm sure the Z gods are very unhappy with you.

You are lucky to get another chance at life. The poor Z won't.

Still, thanks for the pic and a reminder to us all.

Default I expected to be flamed

I knew they were coming. And I am prepared to take the worst of it. That car was the car of all cars. The way it felt, the way I felt in it, the looks you get, everything. Someone asked if I was younger, well no, I am almost 40. I do know my limits. I never once got a speeding ticket. I always wear my seatbelt. It was a unfortunate accident. And I know every one of you has been behind the wheel of your Z and looked down and saw you was doing 80 and was like "OH SH%T" I better slow down. It was late and I was just heading home. ANyway.....I am sorry if I am one of the reasons that insurance on Z's are high. But guess what, that isnt gonna stop me from getting another Z. No freaking way. I just hope, that maybe at least ONE person reading all these posts will use it to heart. I am lucky to be alive and to have another chance at life. And I dont want any of you to be in my shoes right now. Anyway, have a great rest of the week!

Yup - an accident is just that....an accident. People can drive 100% responsible 99% of the time, but at one point in their life they will likely make a mistake and have an accident. Kudos for posting the pics and starting the thread.

Now if you have one or two more of these accidents....then we can flame you

Damn like others have said you are lucky to be alive. That seatbelt device is one of the least expensive yet definitely most valuable component of any car. The seatbelt allowed you to stay put (relatively) while the machine took most of the abuse. We just had a friend of ours die when his car flipped over a few times, so after going through the viewing and funeral last weekend this post really hits home. Thanks for the pics and glad you are ok.

No apology is necessary. A lot of people here are just looking for an excuse to flame. I wouldn’t worry about it.

An accident is just that, an accident. The only people I have no sympathy are idiots (generally kids) acting stupid in a high performance car and road racers. Both have no business driving.

I would not flame you and those who do need to remember; but for the grace of God go you.

I flipped a 4 runner before and walked out of it without a scratch. I didn't have full coverage. At least you do. Hope that make you feel a little better.

Glad it worked out and you survived. I does say a lot about the integrity of the car.

Wow. You lost your car but walked away with your life. In an accident like that, I'd say you made off awfully well. At least you got a whole new perspective on things!
