They did good by me when my wheels and **** was stolen. They paid for the entire car to be repainted. Fixed everything at no cost to me. But isnt that what insurance is for?

Ive got them. I love'em. Any time I have needed to talk to them I get right through to an agent who is always very friendly.

They also have the cheapest rates for my car and adding a car literally took me 5 minutes the other day including having cards emailed to me.

Havent had an accident with them so dont know how that will go.

Worst insurance company ever. They quoted me (30yrs. good record) $2,400 for six months. AAA was $597.00 for the same coverage. And they keep bugging me to switch.
Do me a favor, and drive over that lizard if you see it somewhere.

Just wait until the modified car gets into an accident. Hope they don't take care of others like they took care of me.

I assume you mean that they ARE a lobbying firm (not just an insurance company) because basically every company does lobbying to get laws that favor the company passed.
They actually were started as a lobbying firm. Originally, they didn't even sell insurance. I'd agree that side airbags, ABS, TPMS, side impact beams, etc... are good ideas. I just don't think they should be mandated. It's getting to the point where young drivers can't even consider buying a new car because the prices are so high. New car prices are going up much faster than inflation. So of this is due to manufacturers making their cars bigger and including more standard features, but some is also due to the added expense of increasingly mandated safety and emissions equipment.

And I also don't know what was so great about what they did for you. You pay them to insure your car and they repaired it. And gave you a rental like they are supposed to. Didn't get what was so great about them? Anyways, glad your happy atleast.
I know this all sounds like a commercial for Geico but for me..ditto !! I have had several different insurance companies through the years & I always seem to come back to the Geccoman.....Live help, 24/7 availability, affordable, fast service & no bull.....now where can you find an insurance company that takes it's money ( actually yours ) and does what it's suppose to within a reasonable amount of time ? Insurance companies are great for taking your money but when it comes time to dish it out..some give you a azzache....I can't say anything bad about the Geccoman !!

I hate Geico. Im glad you had a great experience with them. Just don't get into any accidents. My friend got into 2 accidents, and they cancelled his policy right after the 2nd accident was closed. Im glad I went with Progressive from Liberty Mutual just in case because I really wanted to try Geico, but now not ever!!

Someone should make a thread "Reasons on why not to go with GEICO".

Surprised most insurance companies cancel you after 3 claims not just Geico.
Allstate canceled me apprx. 15 years ago with 1 accident & 2 window claims.
