Took the Z through Deals Gap (aka Tail of the Dragon) this Weekend
So i went to visit my grandparents over the Thanksgiving break near Asheville, NC. I bought the Z about 1 week after Z Day, so unfortunately i missed the festivities. I really wanted to go through Deals Gap so on the way back i went through it. It was really awesome, especially because it was a ghost town. There was not a soul around. I was able to really rip on it, I think i saw 1 car the entire time. Enjoy some pics!
A pic taken just a few miles away from the Gap.

Before anyone says anything, I had running shoes on and they got pretty excited for the camera.

Deals Gap from the navigation point of view. Crappy pic due to my girlfriend taking it as i was ripping through a turn it looks like.

One with the GF, she made herself comfy (house slippers) to make up for the stiff ride in the Z.

Random Happiness! This is the AWWWWLLLL picture.

I thought this made a nice pic!

Very nice. Looks like you had fun! Too bad when I lived in NC during grad school in '03, I had a 12 year old Maxima
I love the twisties and enjoy them a lot here in Colorado.

And that lake looks to be running a little low on water.

You got lucky!
From what i hear ya can't go over the speed limit anywhere, because of all the police camping on the shoulder of the road at every turn! I guess i'm going next thanksgiving seeing as all the cops are eating turkey
Cheers
