I just want to comment about how refreshing it is to belong to a forum where the people are mature enough to not react to someone mispelling a word, especially in a car forum where someone spells Porsche wrong. Much different compared to the forum for my last car, www.clubrsx.com Some of the guys in there could be brutal. Got old after a while.

Not only does our car look like a Porsche, but I parked my CS Enthusiast next to a new 911 about a month ago and I could honestly say that I liked the look of my car better. The Z is one of the best looking cars out there...

 

You mean the "front porche" or "back porche" comment.

I'm surprised it wasn't brought up sooner.

But seriously, everyone tells me that my car looks better than a Porsche. Especially since it's brickyard!!!!

 

I liked it when a 911 owner said my Z looked better than his Carrera! He couldn't believe how inexpensive the Z is.

 

It's the Wide fenders that do it for me...

I know folks that do not like Porsche styling but think the Z is an awesome design even though, to them, it resembles a Porsche.

My uncle has the new 911 turbo and he mentioned that the Z looks "nimble like a porsche".

Not a bad a bad comparison since it has a long hood and short rounded back w/ big fenders

 

i was at a quick trip gas station, dressed in my shorts and workout shirt..he asked me what i did for a living to afford that new black car.....told him its my grandma's car....that i was driving....

and we were just saying how this forum isn't like the others....right? i hope this comment was to be sarcastic....cause we accomplished that already.

 

Yesterday I was commuting home, feeling pretty cool in my silver Z. I spotted a roofline and hatch that looked like the Z, same color even, so I moved through the traffic to give the driver a wave. Turned out to be a brand-new 911 Turbo. It looked like my Z on steroids. It was a good reminder that no matter what you have, somebody has something better. It was kind of funny though, because he was obviously having the usual problem of shifting a new, unfamiliar transmission!

Bottom line - to own a car that looks like a 911 and has performance pretty close, for what we all paid, is pretty nice. Thank you Nissan.

 

I like the looks of the Z, but prefer the aesthetics of the 911, however, my favorite comment concerning the two cars was in a car magazine that mentioned the Z's lap time was marginally better than a 911 targa.

 

I just put together a car show for the kids at the school I teach at . Two Porsches , a' 95 and an' 86 showed up so I intentionally put them next to the Silverstone . Everyone by passed them and went right for the Z ! Several comments were how it was better looking than the Porsches and you know , I would have to agree after seeing them side by side .The 350 rules !

I def. prefer to hear the first one
