i ordered my touring fully loaded with nav.. which was a stupid idea because i didn't want the aero package and splash guards. i called the dealer and asked if i could change it but he said it's too late, the order has already been placed.. so yea does anyone know how to take off the splash guards? i'll probably have to do it when i get the car.. thanks
Here's where all the screws, bolts, and clips are...

I'd definitely agree with you that they have a good look and profile which really completes the lines of the car. What really bugs me is that they are seperate bolt-on pieces. Makes them sort of look like they don't belong there. Kinda like Erector Set pieces or Legos or something.
I'd definitely get the splash guards if they were molded into the body, though. Very clean.
