Here is my situation. I've got an '04 Coupe on order, but it looks like I may be transfering with my job to Wilminton, NC before my car comes in.

Therefore I have a few questions. What is the sales tax on cars in Wilmington, NC? How does the registration in NC work? Is there a yearly tax on cars? How often is registration renewed? Any other car related laws I should know about?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
