I spend one night away from this forum and look what I miss!

I did test drive a Vette tonight though. Those things are scary fast!

 

These probably arrived on the ship on 8/6. Another ship was scheduled to dock today. The 12th was the date bantered around because on that date (Monday), most of these cars from these first 2 ships should be starting to get loaded onto trucks and rail cars. I'd imagine some cars may remain at DAS for a bit longer for any port installed accessories.

Any guesses on why all those hatches are up? Are they all getting the spoiler put on?

 

Except for the track spoilers, the spoilers, splash gards, kick plates, and floor matts are all supposed to be port installed options.

I could be mistaken.

In engineering terms they are playing with your mind.
Probably a quality audit of some type,(removing all that nasty japanese air from the passenger compartment and installing fresh Los Angeles vapours), removing/installing a protective cover for the cargo area. (removing that objectionable leather smell that new car owners hate).
New air brake feature?
Hatch opens and becomes a spoiler a la Porsche over 35 mph.
The mind boggles at the possibilities!
At least it is not a picture at the docks next to Oppama during a summer monsoon.

are those cars redline, because look how dark it is. Redline isn't that dark? doesn't redline have a lot fo orange in it?

 

I think it is pretty safe to say that the red colored cars are redline.

I'm actually going to go out on a limb, and say that I am absolutely positive that the red colored cars are, in fact, redline.

So few Brickyards pre-ordered, how nice that they got mine in a closeup. I see another one in the back there...mmm..maybe they duplicated my order. LOL

 

I figured that would be a common mistake. The pictures Nissan sent out in the press information where horrible. Most of them where taken in the sun and have a weird orange look to them. If that were the true color, it would be one ugly color. I was set at ease when I saw the sportZ test drive video which showed the true red color. And this clearly confirms it. Redline is an awesome color.

 

I think they are looking for drugs

 

one of my friends mentioned that Daewoo was just a front company for a drug trafficking mob in Korea .. thats the only way they could possibly stay in business.
