Actually it is there, but it is blurred out due to the focal depth. The focus is on the horizon, so objects that are closer (no pun intended) will be out of focus. For example, the mirror casing and the text.

After all these posts, we finally find out that it is a D100. Its a great camera, but the camera body by itself is not $4K, but only about $2K. I'm sure you have dropped another $2K on lenses. No doubt you can easily do that. Curious what lens you have on the D100 when you shot the picture.
