I was told by my dealer that i would be getting my vin number this week. They also tell me that I will be getting my car at the end of august. Is it possible? They also said that they are the premier 350z dealer in NYC (allocating somewhere between 25-30 Z's on pre order.) Please help. Thanks in advance.

I have gotten my VIN and Delivery Date...
well actually i got two different delivery dates.
Dealer said 8/31
Nissan America said 9/6

Either way i'm gonna be a happy camper in about 3 weeks.

thats possible. i just got my vin yesterday at star nissan. i ordered on 5-5, i was so happy and suprised, i didn't expect to get my vin so early.

 

If you're getting your car in August, they will ALREADY have your VIN, period. Make them go look it up.

 

I ordered at Star Nissan also, but are we that close to getting our cars even if we just got them? If so, thats great. Mysterium what kind of Z did you order? Counting down the days...

 

I do not know what to think but yesterday 08/09 my wife call our dealership and inquired about our car. The girl who answered was very nice and checked for us. She stated that our car will be here at the end of this month We forgot to ask about a VIN but will call in the morning to get it. We were told sometime ago the car would be here in Oct 2nd. Our order was placed in May. Is this too good to be true

 

chrome350z, i ordered a chrome sliver enthusiast 6spd back in may5. and i ordered it through roni @ star nissan, i just got the delivery date on sept 2, wohooo. i'm so excited. good luck, hope you 'll get yours soon.

was that he got a cancelled or dealer pre-order, as he mentioned in an earlier thread.

 

2003z, it was not a cancelled order. my dealer actually gave me a copy of my order form with the vin , order number and expected date on it. i don't have a scanner at home, but i'll scan it when i get to work tomorrow.
