You say that because you seen it happen time and time again. I looked in on this forum for a good while before I decided to join. Unfortunately it’s somewhat anonymous… so people are all manned up. Had this entire conversation been in person? It would have been completely different. And people would have been a lot more decent. I just sold a 2002 custom Road King to a cat in WA. For what I though was a ridiculous sum of money. Had I not at least followed up I never would have made the deal. I guess I just need to sell my car for less, so nobody gets upset.

yeah i guess they put it on the dyno after i left. Sharif had a Lemans colored vert on the dyno making nice power while i was there. over 500 whp.

 

Yes that’s the car. Another local shop did the APS install (half A$$) never was right. Then I ended up with oil pressure issues. The car is now fully built short block, heads, cams, Volks ,Tein, Fcon , Sharifs standard all out build. Plus a very highend audio system. But the kicker…r the car has les than 4000miles. So its like buying a new 600hp convertible. I get tired of the look at my car it better than yours deal… its school yard BS

I’ve made a few feeble attempts to purchase one. It’s pretty dicey… no real history and they want a grip of cash. Then no guarantee on the registration and insurance. I’ve talked to few guys that had all the answers. But most people say if your not going to track it don’t touch one.

when you list how much you have INTO your car.. you should list the amount you spent on mods.. not the cost of the car also

 

He’s an accountant (controller) form PA. He has a stellar rating on eBay. And seems to be an educated buyer. I buy and sell multiple large ticket items on a yearly basis. I’m pretty savvy on this $h1t. if you were not be sarcastic my apologies… there has been more douch’ bags on here than a Masengale add!

 

Is the total cost not relevant to the amount needed to recoup at resale? But if not… build stage 1 about 17k…. build stage 2 about 37k… another 6k in audio. All done by very reputable local Atl shops. So if you want to flame …. Flame them…. I’m not poor. But do not have the time to do my own work. I own 3 businesses. And I would rather pay Sharif so he can feed his big A$$ dog, and hot A$$ girl.
