Fujita Sponsorship
So about 4 months ago when I got the Z, I had stumbled on to carsopnsors.com submitted an application and got a reply that they would be interested in sponsoring my car. I thought to myself, wow this is
.
So i read up on them and the reviews seemed like 50/50, some said good and some said bad.
I had some extra money so I decided to take the plunge (it was only like $100 if I'm not mistaken). So right when i joined supposedly i had like 18 sponsors ready to sponsor me
witch didn't seem right to me, I mean i had just joined how are they going to know if I'm going to show of their products. So it turned out to be just that
.
Out of those 18 sponsors 4 of them truly wanted to give me a sponsorship but the requirements were kind of weird i.e. Attend & enter 4 auto shows, pass out flyer's, take pics rinse & repeat. I like doing that kind of stuff so it doesn't sound too bad. After you send them all of these pictures and stuff they send you your part I was like
the only thing you pay is shipping and handling.
So I don't have a lot of mods on my car. It has rims a drop and a spoiler...But if you don't have a lot of money and you want to upgrade your looks or your motor I definitely recommend checking it out.

Do you honestly think real quality companies would hand you free products? People who have real sponsors have themselves sunk thousands of dollars and countless hours of time and dedication to attending events and showing the companys product. What you signed up for is more than a scam than anything.

"well you can send it back but you wont get another hood for 2 months. i said *** you, canceled my sponsorship and kept the hood. they gave me 20% off the hood, or so they said. i think i paid 700, sounds like full retail to me.

100 dollars to sign up. When will people see it's a scam. They are probably rich as hell with local ricer cars telling everybody they are sponsored by companies and have a roll call on the side of their car. Have you guys even seen these brands that "so called" sponsors you?
Here is quick run down why i think it's a huge scam.
1. You pay them 100 dollars.
2. They give you a list of brands that you can buy for half the price. Even though these prices are MSRP prices. After your 1/2 off discount, these products can be found online brand new for the same price or even less.
3. You advertise them at shows or what not. You slap stickers all over your car with their company name.
So basically, they are making so much money off of you, it's not even funny. Never once have you made profit off of that 100 dollars you gave to them at first. It's a great, thought out plan. Huge scam that i know people will get suckered into.

i figured everyone would know about this 'carsponsorships.com' by now...sheesh
little fyi, everyone gets accepted
My opinoion (coming from the show world) dont do it. I run into ppl who do this all the time. you have to attend like X amount of showes, basically working, not wimpy showes ither FYI, then they will send you a part, u will need to then advertize that part. the companies sposoring your car, lets just say are not top of the line, the body kits and **** are pieces of crap I have seen them in person. all they do is use u to advertise for like 2 months and they give you like $100-200 worth of **** but u continue to advertise. its strickly for rice, but then that is my opinion.
