half tank for me....but i only drive every other weekend back home from my college

 

I fill up when it near the low fuel warning.

 

I fill up $25 or $30 everytime (which is usually a bit under half a tank).

It just seems to get me better gas mileage than when it's full.
Not that this is a true fact, but I guess subconsciously knowing that I have not much fuel left, i'll tend to ease off the gas pedal LOL.

 

Gas prices are too high these days, I just drive until empty and trade in for a new Z.

 

100% duh. The Z is not a race car who cares about 60 damn pounds.

 

I don't see how evaporation can be an issue. It's a sealed tank right?

 

my 96' maxima "requires" premium but i put mid-grade in it all the time...now has 110k...are there any penalties to fueling up with lower octane gas?

Do you really think that will have a measureable afect on fuel economy?

I don't fill by tank size, I fill by wallet size. Generally $40.00 at a time.

 

I fill halfway whenever I need gas.

If I'm taking a decent-length trip on the road, I fill up completely.

 

So... half tank then?

 

I fill up completely... I hate going to the gas station to fill up.... Makes me fill like i am wasting money.. LOL.... Wish gas was free.. HAHAHA

 

How much for a full tank in your area guys? It's pretty expensive here...
