i was just wondering...
who is going to get there Z first?
i heard ZBarrister getting his on the 30th...
just wondering if anyone has an earlier date
and i think whoever gets theres first will be VERY popular

My father in law just told me the dealer told him, same dealer that I ordered at, that his Z is scheduled to arrive on Aug 23!!
He ordered Chrome/Enthusiast without the sided airbags. That's the only difference other than color.
Ain't that something!

FIRST DELIVERIES
The first Z's were on the dock in Honolulu yesterday. I have been told that the release date will be next week Tue 8/20/02. Nissan Motor corp of Hawaii has invited all the pre-order people to a ride and drive at Aloha Stadium next Monday and Tuesday evening. The dealers here will be delivering starting 8/21/02. I saw several yesterday and managed to sit in one today. The car is awesome, the six speed is really fluid, this is going to be a instant classic. The wait will be worth it.

Pretty close to first (not me, though!)
Like I said in another post, only 2 pre-orders were available in my small town in SE Arizona, and I got one of em (expected arrival date: September 9th). However the other pre-order is slated to arrive August 19th (+/- 2 days), though I was told the owner actually lives like 3 hours away in Scottsdale/Phoenix area! That could mean within 3-7 days there will be a Z in my town (even if only for a few hours), and I will finally get to see one in person before mine arrives a few weeks later.
