How much did the military sponsor you to get you to advertise on your plates? Unless it was over $1000, I'd never let them do that.
I have been in the Army 9 years so far, three years spent in a combat zone including one year before/during the invasion of Iraq. I think I can advertise a little Army pride if I want to.
Here's one from Chicago Z. The guy was recently informed by the state of Illinois that after having these tags for 6-7 years is yanking them from him.
That is BS. I think if the DMV doesn't catch it when they issue it, then it should be valid until the owner decides to not renew the plates. I mean come on, that isn't even hard to figure out.........they couldn't figure that out before stamping the plates?

You are correct. I let them expire before renewing. It's my fault. Since they expired I had to reapply. The process went as usual until rather then my new registration showing up in the mail... Random digit plates arrived with a letter about it.
I hope they come soon!!
