Default Totaled.......................

Had an accident this afternoon. Left turn on green light, didn't see a car coming in the oncoming direction(45 mph)... . Air bags worked like a champ. Opened the door and walked away. Sad day, great car.

So wait, techinally this is your fault? Did you have a green arrow or no?

Will you be getting a new Z? And pictures of damage?

Sorry to hear about your loss. Especially here in the KC area. There are so few Zs on the road here to begin with. I noticed your sig. Is that Electrical Engineering, Profesional Engineer? Who do you work for, if I may ask?

No pics for now. I will be entering the black hole of insurance claims and hope to come out totaled. The car was damaged badly enough that I don't want t back.
I would like to pick up a Brickyard Enthusiast, but at the tail end of the model year, I don't know how picky I can be. Please email me if you are aware of any dealers ready to deal on a 03 Brickyard Enthusiast.
Thank you all for your words of kindness.

I have heard stories on the board of Z's getting totaled, due to lack and cost of replacement parts. I'm glad to here that you are okay, what kind of car hit you and at what speed?

Sorry to hear about the Z, glad you could walk from it...

I'm in Johnson Co also, where was the location of the accident?

Using the DEALER SEARCH on Nissan's web site, there is no Brickyard in Kansas City

Love that color, it would be a special to have since it seems this will be the one and only year for it..

Peace

Accident happen at 127th and Quivera. 127th has steep inclines on both sides of Quivera. I guess the truck that hit me hadn't crested the hill. I never saw what hit me.

Default Replaced

I will be picking up a a Bickyard Enthusiast next Saturday to replace my Brickyard base. The good news is the insurance company, American Family, gave me $26,300+ sales tax for my car (I paid ~$26,800) and I was able to get the Enthusiast for $27900.

Default Good news on replacement

Glad you are OK and that the Zs airbags worked. That is what is important. And glad you got another.
