I used to get raped on rt1 and rt 18. not only did you have the potholes, but you had the manholes that were raised up about an inch off the road for whatever reason.

It got to the point where I had memorized where they were and just was able to manuever around them.

but still f-that

I should take a video of my going down rt 18 in Jersey, they have raised manholes right in the middle of the street...LOTS of them. It feels like your car is going to explode

This is my venting thread, you can let it be yours also.

What type of long term damage are these horrible roads doing to my Z???
I FEEEEEL you man! I live in North Brunswick and i get the same crap when i head towards 18 off commercial ave. The new constructions a killer for our z's. I try to stay off 18 and hit rt 1 or rt 130 best i can. If you hit damaging potholes swing by my shop on Georges road the BP station and i'll check out the alignment for you. Otherwise drive it like your drunk (swerve) and avoid EVERYTHING!!!

Lol..think nj roads r bad? u haven't seen anything...drive to NYC down the FDR. You're bound to loose a wheel. Last year in my other car I cracked a rim. Try driving at 60MPH and then seeing metal plates in the middle of the road and huge pot holes. lol..it's not uncommon to see one or two peeps on the side of the road because they hit the same pot hole...
Take your car down Canal street or 14th street west side...or down any street in nyc that's historic (brick cobble stone paving)...better yet, go to brooklyn down atlantic avenue...
How's that for a rant! lol

PA roads are **** imo, you probably know exactly what im talking about. i can hardly listen to CDs anymore, the stock unit has all of my cds skipping on the roads around here. luckily im getting my new headunit installed (avic-d3) wednesday. apparently the skipping will stop, but we'll see. either way, the roads around here blow

Hate the roads her in san antonio,tx they are probably just as bad as the ones that you described in NJ. There is construction out the *** with I think the news said 57 constuctions areas around the city. Its hard to get around anywhere because everything is closed off.

construction is everywhere you look in Chicago. It took me almost an hour to get home from my girlfriends place, which would normally only take at most...25mins. Oh, and this was 5:30AM!

Try living in eastern New Mexico the roads here are complete crap they just finished re paving the road out to my house a year ago and the speed limit was 65 before they re-paved it but now the speed limit is 45 and the sign reads 45 rough road, they must have had a bunch of dbags come out to do it because there is big holes in it and it is warped and crap everywhere so now I take the back roads to town…..

I can never go 19" because of the roads...I am sure my lowering springs don't help out at all either.

I would write to the city and demand them to do something about the damn road.."I just move here and I've never encounter so many potholes on the streets.. Please have someone out here to fix these potholes as soon as possible..I have a new nissan 350z and Im concern that it would damage my suspension..Thanx.
P.S. I expect someone came out here tomorrow and fix all the potholes around to city so I can cruise in my new 350z with no worries...

Roads in MA are even worse than NJ. When its raining you can't even see the potholes coming. They're like landmines.
