I sure hope this doesn't happen. This is one of the reasons why I'm getting rid of my 03 Eclipse for a 350z.

Let them be. The herd needs to be thinned a little.

True, a big trend here in MTL is the S2K, lot of younger guys were getting them from the US as salvaged or just because the price has come down. but overall, its still not the absolute punks that are driving them

I should be getting my Z next month, definitely don't want the same thing, but i don't see as many here so i think its fine, and again, we won't be the ones to make it look bad if thats the case...and like the poster said above, there will still be more kids in Civic's, Accords, Sunfire's and Cobalts than in the Z.

Who cares what others think.. u should just worry about urself and the ownership of the car. Sure the value went down over these years but it's still a awesome car! so what if everyones getting it? that's great I like seeing other Z's on the road. If your feelings are still the same get a project car and make it unique! I have a 240 w/ sr20 planning to do s15 conversion and 180sx lights that will be a weekend car and it will totally blow away a Z! lol

You guys are looking at it all wrong.

More idiots buy the Z for cheap= more wrecks= less Z's = Z's become rarer = higher prices/value.

There are certain exeptions. but, if you're one of those kids who their parents buy them anything they want. You prbobaly don't have respect for things given to you. if this isn't you disregard my comment.

Every lawyer drives an M3 or M5. It's standard issue nowadays.

You'll have teenagers from well-to-do families driving Zs . . . but the high cost of insurance will keep the ricers away.

I don't mind so much about a couple Z's being here and there, but when I try to talk to them thinking they are car enthusiasts and have some car knowledge it pisses me off when they say stuff like, "Yeah, i just got it yesterday and I hit 140. hahah" when they have no driving experience whatsoever. This is a true story and the guy had an auto and could still barely drive it out of the parking lot. (no offense to the auto guys, just trying to harp on this guy not being able to drive). Or better yet when you try to say hey, and they mean mug you like you're some **** that put their family in an internment camp in the 40's, I mean **** I'm only half white. Makes me hella uncomfortable lol
