Default z bumped in the back

So a couple of days ago I was at a light and this lady pulls up behind me and wasn't paying attention when she miscalculated her braking distance. Well, she gave me a lil bump on my rear bumper. You can hardly see the damage. You'd have to get really close up to see a slight thin dent. I brought the car to a shop and they quoted me $286. I don't know if I should make the lady pay so much for such little damage. And it doesn't seem sensible to get my entire bumper redone for it. Suggestions?

You drive a Z.

Z drivers are dicks.

Sue her for damages and mental anguish.

If there is visible damage, no matter how slight, I'd get it fixed. Some day you may want to trade or sell your car and a potential buyer will notice it and the price will drop. Paying for repair might make the woman pay a bit more attention to her driving also.

Pantless dent removal would be better.

But really... to the op... If you really want to "feel good", you can pay for it out of your own pocket.

She hit you.
Car repairs are expensive.
If she didnt want to pay to fix your car, she should not have hit you! =)

will PDR work on plastic panels? I thought it was only for metal.

couldnt you just get a dent guy to come, use a heat gun and push it back out?

or if its real slight just get a suction cup puller and pull it out.
