Doc, Where did you get the front grill? That is exactly what I've been looking for for my brickyard.

 

This is awesome news! I've relied on Bonz's insight into the car - and his comprehensive details of modifications, etc. since before I even took possession of my Z.

Congrats, Dr ... you deserve this! Thank you for sharing so much about your vast Z experience with so many of us. You're a brilliant example of what Z-ciety should be.

 

He used chrome door trim strips over the existing grill slats. Apparently you can buy these strips from O'Reilly/NAPA/etc. and cut them to fit for VERY cheap.

 

Bonz, hats off to ya! Your Z is definitely one of the finest out there, I've got lots of work to do just to keep up. Congrats!

The "chrome" grill is a ten dollar mod. I did by purchasing a roll of door edge guard stuff, measuring and cutting to length, peeling off the backing, and sticking onto the top of each plastic slat in the stock grill.
