Need Help FAST!!! Might Sell the BlackPearl?!?!?!?!
Don't think about it, get the Lotus. They're still plenty quick but like just about every review has said they're about as much fun as you can have in a car. Atleast go test drive one, you won't regret it.
Damn this server is being a b1tch today! Anyways, what I had typed before was:
Since you are heavily debating on getting a new car, Freud would argue that your sub-conscious mind has already been made up, and now you just are trying to justify the decision to your conscious mind. So stop debating and just give in already.
I say go with Evo X.

I love the look of the new EVO (and I even thought about getting one before the Z), but I just didn't want a 4 door.
But about the Elise, I think it should be dependent on if you do in fact get the newer supercharged Lotus. That looks slick. Just like a go-kart.
However, I don't know how short you have to be to fit into one, but I know that just like a Viper, I can't fit into this car. I would say 5 ft 8. It's really awkward in a car too small for you. My friend has a new SLK AMG, and while that is fast, we had to drop the top so I could fit my head in. The Z is damn roomy, so I would say that you need to get a nice test drive of that Elise before you try it out. However tiny, it looks sick, is quick as hell, and handles like just about nothing else.
Or just drop 9 large on a bike. That's my plan.

I was debating the same thing. Just decided on the ninja. I kept my z.
6 months ago, I saw a wrecked Elise and a Mitsubishi sedan, guess which looked came out untouched, or barely touched. Lotus Elise is probaly one of the best track cars there is, but for an everyday car, it ranks very low in my book. Like some have said, adult go-kart. If speed is your thing, get a barely used C5 Z06 which is quite affordable now and you get at least 405hp on the late model ones. Back 6 months ago, the Elise I saw had a fender bender except the front of the Elise disappeared while the sedan that was hit in the back had only a little paint scratches. -1 on Elise as an everyday car
