Why is he getting his car and I can't even get a VIN? I'm way behind the curve. By the time I get mine it will be old news.

 

You and me both buddy. BUT it aint gonna feel like old news to us, the FIRST TIME WE DRIVE IT!!! DAMN, this wait is driving me nuts.

 

the funny thing is im scheduled to take delivery in september and I live in California. It just seems really crazy that someone in Nebraska might have a Z on the 22nd of August but im so close to the port and will have to wait another month. Oh well gives me time to really prepare for the cars arrival.

What time did you post? We need pictures !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here in Charlotte it's only 3:12pm. The time on the screen must be wrong because it says you posted at 5:21pm. I can't wait to see pictures of your new ride. C'mon hurry up, you can drive the car later today & tomorrow. Don't you realize you are the 1st one to get their car and we need to have as much info as possible as well as photos.

Congrats. I am sure we are all as happy for you as we are jealous. Can't wait to see the pictures of it at the dealer. My dad just came home with a digital camera. Just so we could take pictures to post of my Z when it gets here! Even he is excited!

I did some detective work on Ztype and what I found is interesting. He is not listed in VIN soup, BUT he has posted all his relevant info in various threads. He ordered on Jan 15 (I am so happy the first order didn't go to some June orderer) from ABC Nissan (I assume in Phoenix but I don't know). The interesting thing is that his order number was S2613XX and his dealer had given him a July manufacturing date and a SETPTEMBER 30 delivery date back in early June. Looks like Mr. Ztype hit the lottery. BTW, Ztype I don't blame you a bit for not giving us more info, I think it was very nice of you to give us a quick heads-up as you headed out the door, not sure I could have waited to do that.

 

ABC in phoenix has in the past been the largest volume delaer in the country so no surprise they are getting early cars.

 

My dealer says it's not so hope he's wrong

 

Man where is this guy.....I mean after a couple hours I would atleast run by my place take a cople shots of me and my car with the biggest freaking grin on my face....and say,,,,,

"Heres the **** guys gotta run see ya when I see ya" or something like that.

OR

JUST post a audio of me screaming and losing it. Then post me next to the Z emblem and say....."You guys wanna see more???" then send Jay a list of pics to have it posted on the main site.

Ya gotta put the tease factor in especially if you are the first one to get it.

 

I agree, first order of business is post pics of me in my new car. This site has supported me during this extended period of waiting, and it is the least I could do. Besides, I love to show off new toys, and what better place.

It'll be "Here is a pic of my new Z", a picture posted, and then you won't hear from me for a while as I quickly burn off the break in miles.
