Is that it with them lights? Thats the driving beam color? Or just the show color? How are you supposed to see at night?

Those have 0 to do with your HIDs. You can see at night just as if nothing was ever done. In that pic, the HIDs are not turned on.
To the OP, take a summer vacation man!!! I might go buy some plane tickets myself!
