I have to agree, the association should pay for your pain. Also if that community is so exculsive, I'm sure there a lot of people driving in really nice luxury LOW cars. I'm willing to bet you're not the first to have an incident with the spikes and the speed bumb. Spikes and a speed bump, sounds like something out of a trailer park LOL Our communities here in Texas just use gated entries..

call the association and send them the pictures. it is their responsibility to maintain all of the facilities on the property for the safety of the residents and their visitors. they are responsible for fixing the damage as they failed to maintain the nails in the speed bumps to be hammered in and clear of any possible damage to passing vehicles.
I'm 100% serious. Don't take anything less then them paying for the damage!!!!!!!

Yeahm Speedbumps and parking barriers too; the Z has a very los tance, even in OEM mode. Be careful next time, hope you fix that. I know it must suck big time (been there).
