I'm sure his employer "Fastner" would LOVE to hear about his scamming on the foums. Best part is their headquarters is about 30 minutes from my place in Minnesota.

 

I would caution you from going to his work. If you get him fired or cause problems for him and fraud is not proven (or even if it is) he can file a defamation suit against you for a lot of money. Unless this has something to do with his work, don't take it there. Bad idea.

However, anonymous mail with all the information inside of it isn't a bad idea, hahahahaha

 

Why do people keep trying to do this... Can they not see that scammer after scammer gets caught.

Seems like this guy is pretty smart.

 

He sold it on bay as a new good weave hood, when it really had a bad clear coat. I tried to e-mail the Ebay member who bought the hod to warn them, but Ebay blocks e-mails to purchasers.

 

Oh man...this is gonna be good!

Wow, what a change of events this morning. Let me start off by apologizing to Jesse.

I called Jesse at his place of employment (I found after doing some digging and phone calls), to my suprise he was the gentleman who answered the phone. After a quick briefing as to why I was calling him at work, he explained his situation.

As Jesse explained to me when he ordered the Asuka hood, it was for his younger brother. What I didn't know, is that Jesse was building his younger brother, who is 17 or 18, the Z as a graduation gift. Well, an unforseen accident occured and Jesse's younger brother is no longer with us (RIP). Like most, Jesse went into a somber few weeks to gather his thoughts and pay respects to his much loved brother. They are now slowly parting out the car they were so eager to give his younger brother, and that is why the Asuka hood was on Ebay. So after a long conversation with Jesse about many things, I came to the conclusion he was being more then upfront and honest. I apologize again to Jesse if I put him in a bad light during this hardtme. My condolences go out to him and hs family in this time of need.

Sorry to hear about your brother Jesse. I must admit, many of us jumped the gun pretty quick to call you a scammer. Please accept my apologies. My prayers are with you and your family.

Jesse I have been in a similar situation - hang in there.

 

He disappeared for 3 weeks after getting a free replacement part, phone number was disconnected, then the same guy is sell the same hood on Ebay. Not sure what else I could have expected. Jesse understood my concerns and couldn't blame me for hunting him down. He was very sincere and I could tell I had no reason to question the honesty of his story.

Either way, it should be resolved early next week as Jesse is repacking the defective hood over the weekend.

Sorry to hear abou that. Although I understand Jims side. You can't wait around forever. I feel bad for Jesse, but you can't blame anyone for wondering what is going on. At the first of the post they were honestly worried and just trying to find out whats going on.

 

DAMN. Jesse sold me his rims that i have on my car now, great deal too and he is a great guy. I still have to go see him when i get back to MA and buy him a beer for the great deal. i also live in MA, 30 min from where he lives.
