Thanks to many of you I am a happy man! New Z.
After waiting for 90 days, I finally took delivery of my new 2003 Brickyard Touring five days ago. According to my dealer, it was one of the very last ones to be built.
I am delighted to say so far I have had no problems and the car is even better than I expected. No grease streaks, no pulling to the right, no seat clicks or any other clicks. The Bose sounds decent to me, but I'm sure a pure audiophile would gag. I agree with many that it should be better and I were Bose I would be embarassed to have my name on it. However, I don't sense any audiopilot weirdness.
Thanks to all of you who supplied numerous tips, solutions, and recommendations. It really helped. I now go forth to do another layer of Zaino.

Love your Z's color. It was my second choice. I've only seen it once. Since it seems the color will be offered for only one year, you'll have one special car!
Enjoy! (And be sure to keep it under 4K RPMS
)
Peace

Congrats sparky!
Nice to have that peace-of-mind that you have a freshly built Z that may have very well alluded the problematic troubles that plague some of the board members here. In any case, have fun, be safe, visit often.
