Help me decide what pkg..
I would typically buy the touring, cause I like leather and don't usually screw with the sound system, but in this case I think I may opt for the enthusiast package and install a good aftermarket stereo and some wheels (F 18X8 R 18X8.5) w/S-O3's.
Maybe get aftermarket leather. The only thing I think I would really miss is VDC? I have it on my Mercedes and had it on the Vette, and though I rarely use it, it is a sweet crutch in certain situations. The enthusiast is such a bargain at 30K, I figure I would have to spend another 2300 to get the VDC on the performance pkg and still not like the wheels or stereo.

I had the same dilemma (sp?). I went with the Enthusiast because while the VDC is nice, my belief is that 90% of the time, the TCS would be sufficient to keep me out of trouble. I mean I have driven 27 years without either TCS or VDC, I think I can do just fine with only TCS.

Leadfoot...If I were you I would opt for the Enthusiast. It's the middle ground. You can always get better aftermarket leather installed later. I ordered it and there's no doubt in my mind that I made the right decision. The only model that you'll be able to tell any type of difference is the Base. LSD and TCS are not available like on the Enthusiast. All the other model should pretty much feel the same. The Xenon lamp and a simple garage door opener sealed it for me. Get the Enth... You won't be sorry. Even though I'll be changing the wheels asap, that is my only gripe...17's look to small on the Z. Good luck.

I'm getting Miglia Evo 5 in 19's wraped on some nice Bridgestone 03 pole positions. I'm thinking my entire package should run about 3k at the most. I can't wait for Tirerack to get off there butts and steal a Z for tire fitment. Check out the mod section and see TXstyle thread on wheels. Everything from bigger wheels to wide rubber.
